So another, DIFFERENT story concept than previous ones. Came up with this after Finals today; got finals tomorrow and then it's all over. Thank god.

Anyone here read Higarushi: When They Cry? Or its sister series, Umineko? Probably not, but I'll give you a short rundown of why these are important here: Like parallel universes? Ever wanted to go ahead and have access to every single world, but being thrown into a new one every time you died? Endless enjoyment?

For two people, who I will name Forde and James (with their original names being unknown; they are just filler right now), this is a nightmare that never ends; with James being the one who silently is enjoying it all with Forde being the one truly stuck.

Let's rewind a bit. James, being extremely curious despite not having the direct brains to do anything that he'd want to do, and Forde, with the brains to do anything, managed to find - SOMEHOW - a method of connecting parallel universes. Quadrillions of small spheres with lights were floating within an endless vastness of space, with each one representing another world. James, interested in continuing to investigate through it, tries to step through but jerks his leg back once he feels something grasp it, but he gets a slightly brilliant yet completely arse-headed idea: Take control of each of the worlds and, since Forde was basically a 99% better James, kill him in each and every single one - just shove what remains of his soul into another world and let him be reborn. How was this told to him? By the very thing that grabbed onto him - other souls lost to the world by the very same thing. Forde refuses to head in but James shoves him in - to a world of aliens, constant fighting, and robotic suits.

At the end of Forde's first life, the person to come up to him was a girl - in fact, James reincarnated into that world. 'She' was grinning and killed him, as his soul was ejected from that spherical world and straight into another

And now they are stuck in an endless time loop, infinitely being killed and restarting in a new life as someone else in a parallel universe, with examples being:

- Feudal Japan times,
- An alien invasion, with Forde dying within the first 3 minutes of being born,
- Medieval Times,
- and even a video game from his own time.

And over the course of it all, there has been several restrictive rules towards this:

 - James and Forde will always be reincarnated as a human being from this world.
 - James does not necessarily have to kill Forde, but has a high chance of doing so.
 - If one brother dies, the other has the opportunity to shove him into another world.
 - Each world will always be different; no two worlds are the same unless influenced to be.
 - Memories will not necessarily be returned, but if they are will be returned with random results, such as instantaneous understanding or a scroll being somehow written in Forde's home language English despite the area not necessarily speaking English.
 - The only unconfirmed rule, is that Forde will always die.

In his most recent reincarnation, Forde has no direct memories of the past - only dark nightmares of moments before his death in other times. I'll add more some other time - but that's all I have thought of at the moment.
